Considering the increase in urbanization and the increasing importance of cities in the development of the national economy, the conventional methods of city administration with top-down approaches are not effective and insufficient, and there is a need to adopt and model new systems and methods for the administration of cities for the active and efficient participation of all stakeholders. to facilitate Good urban governance is based on this fundamental principle that instead of taking the full responsibility of the city administration at all levels, the city management should work together with the citizens, private and social sectors, as one of the institutions or agents responsible for the administration. be considered a city. In this research, the components of good governance in the urban management of the first district of Tehran have been investigated and prioritized. The statistical population of this research includes all employees of the first district of Tehran and its ten districts, of which 186 people were selected by systematic sampling using Cochran's formula. The obtained results indicate that based on the relative importance coefficient of the AHP method, relationships are of the greatest importance as the most important factor affecting good governance in urban management with a coefficient of 0.533, followed by efficient economy with a coefficient of 0.467. Security, service provision and civil capacity are also prioritized in the next categories, and the indicators of these components should be taken into consideration in urban policy making.
