The acceptance of Islam by the people of Medina and the invitation of the Prophet (PBUH) to this city marked the beginning of major changes in the history of Islam and the prosperity of the Islamic religion. The purpose of this research is to investigate the elimination of the stratification of Medina society during the time of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in a descriptive-analytical way. The findings of the research show that the city of Medina was faced with tribal differences on the threshold of the arrival of the Prophet (PBUH). For this reason, the residents of this city turned to the Prophet (PBUH) to save them from the crisis. They accepted Islam and invited the Prophet to enter this city, which he accepted. The arrival of the Prophet in the city of Medina led to the formation of the Islamic government, the beginning of widespread propaganda of the Islamic religion and its prosperity. By maintaining equality among Muslims, the Prophet tried to establish unity among different sections of Medina society, which was a symbol of the model of Islamic society. The construction of the mosque, which can be considered as a religious and cultural act, caused major changes in the society of Medina and the Islamic government. The mosque became a religious-political place and was a center for the unity of Muslims regardless of any social classification. The mentioned things helped the development and progress of the Islamic society, which is indeed an Islamic model for Islamic governance.
