Abstract

Nowadays increasing complexity, uncertainty, has changed the goals of many organizations from effort for profitability to effort for survival and resilience. In the interim , natural disasters, organizational violations, terrorist attacks, and epidemics have posed challenges for organizations. In order to help organizations with pervasive crises, this study seeks to identify crisis response strategies and examine their role in firm performance based on the moderating role of demographic factors. The present research is practical in terms of purpose , And its statistical population includes managers of Iranian Firm in various industries. Research data has been obtained using the available method from among 384 managers of Iranian Firm and through cyberspace. Confirmatory factor analysis technique and Cronbach's alpha coefficient were used to evaluate the construct validity and reliability of the instruments, and the structural equation method using SmartPLS software was used to test the research hypotheses. The results show that the rapid response policies to the coronavirus crisis has a positive and significant effect firm performance and among the dimensions of rapid response policies to the coronavirus crisis, business Strength policies, financial resilience policies & execution clarity policies affect firm performance, and the team health & safety policies does not have à significant impact on firm performance, results also indicate confirmation the role of moderating demographic variables Number of employees and type of industry and rejection the role of moderating of firm age and organizational position variable in the relationship between rapid response policies to the coronavirus crisis and firm performance.
