Abstract

The discourse of the Islamic Revolution was developed and emerged with the approach of returning to Islam and the rule of the people using the principles of Islam, paying attention to the requirements of time and place under the leadership of Imam Khomeini, and he began to build a system for 10 years under the management of the Imam himself. In this political system, presidents have played an important role, and sometimes their approach was not in line with the discourse of the architect of the Islamic Revolution. Following the elections of June 2012, Mr. Hassan Rouhani was elected as the president of the Islamic Republic as the bearer of the discourse of moderation.Findings: This article poses the question that what are the similarities and differences between the discourse of the Islamic revolution and the election slogans of Hassan Rouhani? It has explained the hypothesis that the election slogans of Mr. Hassan Rouhani in the presidential election of 2013 have something in common with the floating signifiers of the Islamic Revolution discourse, but by placing the need to come to terms with God in the central signifier of his discourse, he is far from the central signifier of the Islamic Revolution discourse. has taken.Keyword:
