Abstract

The purpose of this research is identify the dimensions and components of tourism destination governance from an entrepreneurial perspective so that priority components and dimensions can be identified. In this way, managers can focus on them and find ways to improve, while promoting tourism destinations and provide them with the possibility of competitiveness. This research is descriptive-analytical and in terms of methodology, it is among mixed method. In the qualitative section, interview tools were used to collect data and were analyzed by thematic analysis method. Thus, the components of integrated management, macro and institutional approach to tourism, stakeholders, tourism delegation, interrelationship between governance and entrepreneurship, obstacles to tourism development, tourism ecosystem, tourism culture, entrepreneurship in tourism, governance indicators and levels Governance was identified and classified in four main dimensions: structural-institutional factors, tourism ecosystem, entrepreneurship in tourism and governance in tourism. In the quantitative part, in order to identify priority dimensions and components, the findings were prepared in the form of a questionnaire and distributed among the target population, and after collecting the resulting data, they were analyzed using the importance-performance matrix. Based on this, in tourism destination governance with an entrepreneurial approach, the components of delegation, the business environment and the levels of governance and the dimensions of the tourism ecosystem, structural/institutional factors and governance in tourism are in priority for improvement, respectively.
